X-ray is no longer just a service but also a product.

Over Thanksgiving 2023 Dbrand, a hardware accessories company, and JerryRigEverything, a popular Tech DIY YouTuber, simultaneously announced a copyright lawsuit against another accessory manufacturer and revealed a new product line – X-RAY.

dbrand holds an exclusive license with Haven Metrology for the use of digital X-Ray imaging in the production of hardware accessories (e.g. phone cases, skins). But why choose Haven Metrology?

We have the highest resolution 450kv system in the world (proven here). Pairing this resolution with our large format detector allows us to produce large, single shot X-rays that don’t require multi-shot stitching and the need to account for parallax – an x-ray condition that displaces the direction of an object’s features that are not in a straight line between the x-ray source and detector.

We also used our Nikon Microfocus 225kv cabinet for even higher resolution – between 3um-122um) on the smaller products like AirPods & Galaxy Z Flip 5.
