Our versatile equipment and certifications have led to qualified parts in operation from the depths of the ocean all the way to outer space.
Haven Metrology’s first of its kind, custom built 450kv X-ray vault was designed for our clients, and with them we will push the boundaries of non-destructive qualification.
This system offers the industry’s best image quality of complex & high density parts – entire EV packs, aerospace superalloy castings, and composites that require maximum resolution.
With focal spot sizes ranging between the conventional minifocus and the open microfocus, we are the first to offer the 450kV MesoFocus tube by Comet which is a game changer from a technological perspective.

High Energy Industrial radiographic testing for castings and forgings like inconel, titanium, copper, and large electronics, PCBs, and AM components
High Energy Industrial CT for high density assemblies, castings, EV modules, composites, and stainless steel housings
Industrial X-Ray and Computed Tomography is used to locate and understand variations in linear density and defects within any type of material. These examples show density variation, inclusions, and fiber orientation.
With a collection of standards and gauges in house, and the ability to acquire those we don’t have within days, you can rely on us to meet your NDT inspection requirements.
This case study demonstrates our unique ability to CT scan a nearly five foot tall casting. Porosity and other defects are witnessed throughout the entire length of the part.
CT scan data can be converted to .stl or other formats to be used for CAD comparisons, dimensional analysis, reverse engineering, mold flow, or FAE. Complex alignments & GD&T can be programmed for automated inspection. This case study shows is a 24x14x10″ 4 piece vibratory welded manifold. All welds are inspected for leaks, penetration, and profile.
